PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE VALUABLE ORIENTATIONS DEVELOPMENT OF TEENAGER’S
Abstract
The article discusses the problems associated with human values, which belong to the number of the most important in sciences that study man and society. This is mainly due to the fact that values are integrative basis for individual personality, for any social group, nation and humanity as a whole.
The concept of “value” is analyzed. The personal values of the individual are reflected in consciousness in the form of value orientations, system of which defines the essence of both people and the particular community. The analysis of methodological trends in the study of value orientations and their components is given also.
The formulation of the needs of teenagers is covered. The basis of teenager’s formation is their value orientations. Some essential for the formation of the value needs and value orientations of individuals in adolescence determinants are highlighted.
In the article is noted that every teenager has its own specific hierarchy of values that links individual and social life.
The importance of such factor of formation value orientations of teenagers as the environment, especially the social status of a teenager among peers and the atmosphere in the family is emphasized.
