FACTOR ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURE OF STRESS RESISTANCE OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF SOCIONOMIK PROFESSIONS
Abstract
The article describes the study of the structure of personal resources of professional stress resistance of specialists. On the basis of factor analysis were constructed the structural models of high and low stress resistance levels of future specialists of socionomic professions, which allowed tracing the most significant ratios of professionally significant personal characteristics. The analysis of the general structural connections allowed to comprehend the place of each variable in the general structure of professional stress resistance. It is shown that the professional stress resistance of students has a multicomponent structure and is characterized by a high level of integration and different degrees of severity of the most significant psychological constructs that affect its ability to handle stress. The factor structure of indicators among students with a high level of stress resistance implies factors that characterize the orientation of students to the internal locus of control, constructive coping strategies, the lack of pronounced irrational thought patterns, a small amount of accentuations and satisfaction with living conditions. The factor structure of indicators among students with a low level of stress resistance implies the dominance of destructive coping strategies, an external locus of control, significantly more accentuations, dissatisfaction because of unfulfilled needs and the presence of irrational attitudes in thinking. These factors show three main blocks, which ensure reception and processing of information, creating a plan of their own actions and controlling of its successful implementation.
