The purpose of the article is to study the place of visual psychodiagnosis in the professional environment of human resources manager. During the research, based on the synthesis method, the main nonverbal elements of communication between the HR manager and candidates or employees were introduced, the methods of deduction and induction allowed to determine that not all elements of nonverbal communication can now be investigated by using visual psychodiagnosis, taking into account the aspect of online work, which has become relevant due to the emergence of COVID-19 and other modern conditions. The results of the study demonstrate that visual psychodiagnosis is important in the work of HR manager, as it includes a lot of visual signals that can be read, studied, and reach certain conclusions. A vacancy that requires active interaction with customers needs an active, smiling employee, preferably an extrovert. Such a person will attract customers; make a positive impression about the company, its products and services. Nevertheless, there is the opposite side, namely a vacancy for which a candidate with an active life position will not be suitable, since he may be bored, the work will become a routine and such a person will start to think about quitting more and more often. Understanding not only words, but also considering nonverbal signals will help the HR manager to make more conclusions about the candidate and, if necessary, helps to point them in the right direction. Based on the results of the study, it can be argued that HR manager who understands visual psychodiagnostics will be able to improve most of the processes for which he is responsible: starting from the stage of selecting a candidate for the position, going to the stage of evaluating the results of the employee's work. Working with people, it is worth remembering that in the process of communication, from 40% to 80% of communication occur using nonverbal signals, which still need to be read correctly. As our study shows, the HR manager must develop his knowledge and skills in the sphere of visual psychodiagnosis, as in the conditions of a dynamic world, in the future new technologies may appear, the diversity of the workforce will increase, where HR will deal with the representatives of different cultures with their nonverbal signals.
