THE REFLECTIVE COMPETENCE AS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR OF THE ORGANIZATION OF A REFLECTIVE EXPERIENCE AT THE METACOGNITIVE LEVEL
Abstract
The article deals with the features of functioning of the personality`s reflective experience at the metacognitive level of its organization, in which the subject solves the objective contradictions that arise during the execution of the main activities. The author proposed the model of the reflective experience as a system that integrates the three structural components (the reflective competence, the reflective potential and the procedural components of reflective activity), their mutual co-operation provides a solution of the reflective tasks. The author proved that the level of organization of the personality`s reflective competence is an important internal condition of the organization of the reflective experience and its components at the metacognitive level. At this level, the reflective competence combines subject`s metacognitive awareness about his own reflective activity (an information component), the system of the metacognitive reflective skills (an instrumental component), the subject`s system of abilities to predict the events of him life activity (a value-motivational component), the reflectiveness as a cognitive style (a behavioral component). It was shown that the elements of the reflective competence mobilize the personality`s operational and behavioral resources providing an involuntary control of the reflective activity; organize the reflective actions aimed to the construction and reconstruction of the mental models through the activation of the reflectiveness, the ability to take into account the constant and chance factors in the creation of possible models, the prediction of the outcomes of his own actions and the control of the level of the self-criticism.
