ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE «PSYCHOPHYSIOLOGY» IN THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF SPECIALISTS IN CRISIS PSYCHOLOGY

The article analyses the theoretical and methodological aspects of teaching the discipline ‘Psychophysiology’. The role of the discipline in the system of professional training of students obtaining a bachelor's degree in the speciality C4 Psychology is determined. The necessity of mastering professional competencies by future specialists in crisis psychology is substantiated. It is determined that the training of specialists in crisis psychology is extremely important, since they play a key role in providing psychological assistance to people with various disorders of mental health and psychological well-being, in crisis and stressful conditions, so knowledge of the physiological processes that occur in the body in these conditions is necessary. The tasks of studying the discipline are highlighted: the connection of the mental state of the body with the physiological one; development of psychophysiological literacy; mastery of the conceptual apparatus; ability to use psychophysiological terms and concepts in professional activities; development of professional competence: formation of a holistic view of the laws of human growth and development in students; clarification of the psychophysiological features of the functioning of the integral human body; promotion of significant progress on the path of professional development. A description of the topics of the content module ‘Human Psychophysiology’ is given. It is noted that during practical classes, students get acquainted with modern research methods in psychophysiology, perform practical tasks on the study of psychophysiology of memory, psychophysiology of motivation and emotions, psychophysiology of attention, psychophysiology of consciousness, and unconscious.
