The article describes the procedure of elaboration of an author's questionnaire of personality’s ability to self-design. Diagnostic toolkit was created in accordance with our proposed theoretical model of personality's ability to self-design, according to which the latter is determined by integral body of psychological features of personality, which core component is a formation of desire of an individual for self-development, personal autonomy, perspective orientation of his individual experience, tolerance to uncertainty and systematic reflection.
The proposed questionnaire aims to determine the state of formation of personal autonomy (as a dimension of intentional, semantic emancipation of a personality) and perspective orientation of individual experience of a personality (as his willingness to carry out a life project). The questionnaire consists of 45 statements, rated according to a 5-points scale.
It contains four, relatively independent, diagnostic scales: "Autonomy", "Impulsive quasi-freedom", "Me-planning", "Me-acting". Features of personal emancipation are determined according to the scales "Autonomy" and "Impulsive quasi-freedom". Perspective orientation of individual experience of a personality is diagnosed by taking into account the data according to the scales "Me-planning" and "Me-acting", which determine readiness of a personality for implementation of his own life project. The development algorithm and approbation results of the above-mentioned diagnostic toolkit is shown based on selection of 1015 persons.
