“AUTHOR OF LIFE": PSYCHOLOGICAL MODEL OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR LIFE CHOICES IN ADULTS
Abstract
The article deals with a psychological phenomenon of intellectual (mental) model of responsibility for life choices – “Author of Life”, which directly relates to the individual’s life success. Elicited were five types of the model stance. Basic principles of influence on personal development depending on the actual type were described, as well as the format of changes and acceptable style; the starting point for transformation determined. The phenomenon of responsibility is described through the psychological model "Author of Life" where basic levels of responsibility for the individual's life choices and further activity are presented. Self-actualization, self-development manifest itself in construction and correction, tuning of the mental model of life success, in awareness of results of previous activities.
The article continues the series of publications on the psychology of life success.
