PSYCHOEDUCATION AS A MEANS TO FORMATION OF PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH CULTURE IN PEDAGOGICAL STAFF

The article deals with a problem of influenceing the culture of teachers’ psychological health in the course of advanced training. It identifies a number of issues related to the staff’s psychological health and its sustenance in the course of their professional development, as well as the factors that shape the psychological health and its self-reflection.The article’s emphasis is on shaping and correcting the components of the psychological health culture as well as on selecting the corresponding methodological tools in the domain of value-motivation.
It is noted that for the formation of all components of the culture of psychological health of teachers and to satisfy the requests of teachers for psychological knowledge, in the conditions of advanced training, the method of psycho-education is most suitable.
The goal of this work is to identify the directions of psychoeducation for influencing the culture of pedagogical stuff’s psychological health. The article publishes the results of studies to determine the place of health in the system of value orientations of teachers and the impact of attitudes towards health on the distribution of the spheres of life activity of participants. As well as research evaluations by teachers of their own emotional well-being.
Based on the data obtained, it was determined that psycho-education should include not only the provision of knowledge, clarification of processes, but also elements of actualization of the problem and motivation for actions to support and restore psychological health.
