PECULARITIES OF REFLECTION AND SELF-APPRAISAL OF PROFESSIONAL ABILITIES OF WOMEN WITH MENTAL DISORDERS
Abstract
The article exposes the term of professional abilities as important personal factor of re-adaptation and personal development of people with mental disorder on which preservation of ability to work and competitiveness in the labor market depends. Mental disorder modifies the development of personality, the system of his values and motives therefore a person finds himself in the life crisis situation and needs to find the personal resources for adaptation to his new status and new activities which he can execute successfully. Elaboration of programs of psycho-social rehabilitation have to be based on the individual psychological peculiarities of person, his interests and aims, therefore it is important to expose the lost and preserved mental functions, professional knowledge, skills, and abilities. Analysis of the peculiarities and self-esteem of professional abilities of women with mental disorders proves that they are able to realize their professional abilities but professional self-realization is not a priority; notions about professional prospects are poorly represented and plans for the future relate to family-role position. Besides, the article determined the peculiarities of reflection and self-appraisal diagnostics of professional abilities in people with mental disorders. Value support of abilities development is based on partner principle and stipulates for creation of development environment including use of modern education technologies, for instance, distance learning for development of intellect, increase of qualification and re-qualification, forming the motivation for professional activity.
