PSYCHOLOGICAL DIMENSIONS IN THE STRATEGY OF CHOICE OF BORDER GUARD’S PROFESSION
Abstract
In the article on the results of the State Border Guard Service pilot project for the selection of personnel in certain border units and analyzed the results of the psychological component in shaping the strategy of belonging to the team of border guards. We made the comparison of quantitative and qualitative indicators submitting electronic application form for vacancies. It was established that the need for life in a physical and spiritual sense is the basis for building the motivational strategies choice of border guards profession. The author gradually reveals the psychological dimensions determine future careers individual candidate stands degree adjustment of active life goals personnel categories. Attention is focused on the need to improve the efficiency of border activities through coordination with the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and need to implement similar measures at customs offices. Prospects of research can study how certain individual needs vary, their relationship changes, the impact on the individual candidate qualitative characteristics of life strategies and therefore the correction of life goals, and to change values. Pilot project on reforming units significantly enhance the quality of services for citizens and reduce corruption manifestations. These factors will measured and analyzed by periodic surveys.
