SPECIFICS OF STUDENT’S SELF-KNOWLEDGE ON USING ART-THERAPY COMPLEX «FIVE SENSATIONS»
Abstract
The article represents the research results of the specifics of student’s self-knowledge on using art-therapy complex «Five sensations». There is short description of the complex and its effects in the article.
The complex «Five sensations» is aimed at self-knowledge and self-awareness using the work with sensations: visual, auditory, tactile, taste and olfactory. The length of the complex – 80-90 minutes. It consists of some stages: 1) free painting; 2) the work with sensations; 3) the second free painting; 4) discussion. We offered our experiment members to fill in a questionnaire about impressions and effects of the experiment.
The analysis of results of discussion with subjects and their questionnaire are represented in the article. In particular, we determined that the complex facilitates the increasing of interest in self-knowledge and self-awareness, actualizes the feeling “here and now”, makes physical and psychological well-being. Our experiment members mentioned that they got new knowledge about theirselves and their sensations, pondered over there potential. In general the presented art-therapy complex «Five sensations» has good effects on experiment members.
At the later researches we plan to use test methodic, expansion of the sample, analysis of results in male and female samples, correlation analysis.
