GENDER DIFFERENCES IN MANAGER’S BEHAVIOUR: PECULIARITIES OF WOMEN’S MANAGEMENT

Abstract


The article considers several approaches of domestic analysis related to peculiarities of gender differences between men’s and women’s management style. The analysed gender differences are based on sexual dimorphism of males and females. The author discovers the concept of leadership, its connection with management and management activity concept together with description of scientific theories’ directions, which examine gender factors and their impact on personality formation.

The article contains comparison analysis of males and females management skills for managers. It incorporates detailed analysis of peculiarities typical for women’s management style and main masculine characteristics; description of women’s strengths and weaknesses as managers with their impact on the professional life; conclusions related to scientific theories, which examine gender and leadership influence on manager’s activity.
