EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH OF FEATURES OF «SELF-IMAGE» FORMATION BY COMPUTER-DEPENDENT YOUNGER ADOLESCENTS
Abstract
The article presents the results of experimental research of features of formation of self-image by computer-dependent younger adolescents.
Various features of younger adolescents which can lead to the emergence of computer and Internet addiction are considered and analyzed.
A brief description of testing methods, on the basis of which were formed provisional groups of adolescents – appropriate to the level of dependence on computer games and the Internet was given.
The main hypothesis, that served as a basis for experimental research was formulated.
Characteristics of self-image, part of which became the basis of the structural "Virtual tattoo" self-interview were presented. Guided by comparative analysis of provisional groups of younger adolescents obtained during testing and the main hypothesis of the experimental research, the main differences between provisional groups of younger adolescents evaluated by the characteristics of |«self-image» are defined.
According to the most important characteristics, structured experimental results obtained during processing by means of the Student's t-test are presented.
