MOTIVE AND SUCCESS MOTIVATION AS ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY OF LAWYERS
Abstract
The article presents the theoretical analysis of personality motivation field in specialists’ training; the analysis of psychological and methodological approaches is introduced to determine the notions of motive and success motivation; the nature of notions of motive and motivation as an essential elements in legal activity is revealed; the importance of motive and motivation while professional competence formation of future lawyers is analyzed; specific features of legal activity are described; motives of choosing the profession, success motivation and failure elusion among law students are studied; the prevailing motivation type when choosing the profession is defined; comparative analysis of motive for the choice of profession among boys and girls is conducted; features of success achievement and failure elusion in male and female students are studied and compared; connection between the motive and success achievement is defined; the results of law students’ learning motivation are outlined; conclusions about the influence of motives and motivation on successful professional activity of lawyers are formulated; interconnection between psychologically correct training and motives of success achievement in professional activity is highlighted; methods encouraging improvement in training of future participants of professional legal activity are introduced.
